| | This weekend was a real treat. | I checked out the Palm Springs 70mm Film Festival at the Palm Springs Cultural Center and saw Close Encounters of the Third Kind, the sound system is wild. They must have speakers in the ceiling because I have never felt bass like that anywhere… the closest was probably holding the rail for Justice at Coachella. I think the Palm Springs Cultural Center is officially my favorite place to watch a movie now. | Then it turned into a surprise double feature. I got to see the upcoming movie Disclosure Day on 70mm!! The first public premiere ever, and it was phenomenal. Seeing them back to back was a perfect ride, nothing bad to say at all. I grabbed a shirt to commemorate it and I cannot wait for you all to catch it in theaters. | Sunday, Orion and I stopped by 1/2sies and picked up a box of donuts (The strawberry shortcake is to die for). Their new sweet corn ice cream is wonderful, and I got the Donut Madness, which is my kind of thing, just chunks of donut in every bite. I also grabbed a cannoli I’ll be enjoying tonight. yuuuum! | Anyway, onto the issue. |
